It really does just sum us up the way we don't have a scoreboard really. Pretty much every Prem ground does, as do many lower league grounds to. In truth, Birmingham City FC have always had the tag of 'mediocre'. We proberly still can be described as that now too, but that doesn't stop me loving and following this unique club up and down the country. |

FFS people. A scoreboard is not necessary. In fact, I quite like not havinga scoreboard. We can all tell the time and have a watch/ phone witha clock on it so why do we need a scoreboard? Dont' think of us a being mediocre or left out. Think of us as being individual. STOP MOANING FFS. |

It's not so much as moaning as it is not being able to follow other clubs in regards to facilities like that. I, tbh, wouldn't midn whether or not there is a scoreboard. As people say, it is really not 'necessary'. Infact, it is proberly the newer generation blues fans calling us to have one. imo it is more the principle of not having a scoreboard. You look around and see clubs we consider ourselves bigger than with things like scoreboards, yet we don't have one. I for 1 would much prefer to see a score board than the stupid amount of sponsers round the pitch and over the tannoy. As I said earlier, blues is a unique club that has always tended to do things there own way and perhaps not be as proffesional or modern as other clubs. It's not success or great facilities that make us all support blues is it? It is because we have a bond with them, there our local team, runs in the family etc. Scoreboard or no scoreboard we will carry on supporting blues. |

Oh my goodness I remember as a 13 year old watching the blues week in and week out standing underneath the Jeff hall memorial scoreboard, fondest memory standing there and watching Fred Pickkering put the ball in the back of the net in the quarter final of 68 against Chelsea, whatever happened to that memorial to JH is it somewhere safe. blimey thats 37 years ago blimey i've bgeen through the mill with blues since then but will support them no matter what KRO |

i used to stand under it as a teenager, remember watching TF score 4 goals against Bolton standing under, and that mad match against Portsmouth when we won 6-3 and that cup quarter final against Chelsea when Freddie Pickering scored the winner, oh those were glory days, but hey we might reach wembvley this year but i've no idea where the scoreboard is now - hope it hasn't been destroyed. |
